Established in 1974 Viking has evolved into one of the UK's largest suppliers of
office products, office furniture and computer supplies. With our headquarters in
Lichfield, Staffordshire and regional distribution depots we are ideally situated
to offer customers fast, next day delivery on over 30,000 products whilst keeping
our carbon footprint to a minimum.
Our growth has been built on reputation, quality of product and high levels of customer
service. Initially supplying stationery, we now offer a full service of total business
solutions from initial business setup requiring office furniture to company literature
and stationery.
Stationery
Catering for the student/small business through to national corporate organisations,
stationery can be purchased via our telesales team or through our online catalogue.
We also have an experienced sales team who can visit you and generate a contract list
which allows us to give you a very competitive price on your most popular items.
During this meeting our salesperson can set up your internet account giving you the
ability to order online.
Retail & Copy Centre
We have an on-site outlet at our Lichfield headquarters which caters for both local businesses
and the general public. We stock a large range of products and also offer the added benefit of
being able to browse our online catalogue and place an order for either next day delivery or
collection.
The Copy Centre offers a full range of printing services from single sheet photocopying to wedding
stationery and A0 printing and everything else in-between. This facility is also available through
our telesales team for non-local customers.
Furniture
We offer a bespoke service where our sales team can survey your site and present you with a 3D CAD
design showing all possible layouts and plans. At our Lichfield headquarters we have opened a
new 5000sq foot furniture showroom with a full range of office furniture set out to represent
a working office environment for our customers to experience. We have an extensive range of
second hand furniture and offer an installation and removal service on both new and second hand.
The showroom is open six days a week and is open not only to trade customers but to members of
the public.
Transport Department
We have our own modern fleet of delivery vehicles, giving us complete control over our logistics.
We are not dependent on third-party couriers which means consistency of service and cost-benefits
to our customers. Orders received by 4.00pm are delivered free of charge the next day.
New Business Software
We continually invest in the most suitable purchasing and stock control systems in order to ensure
the most seamless and reliable service for our customers. When a customer orders a product, stock
levels are automatically checked, the item picked and a replacement item immediately ordered for
re-stocking. The same system generates the sales invoices and delivery information, all of which
is tailored to manage individual customers' requirements.
